Position: General Accountant

Job Description:

Help Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Documentation:
    Prepare financial documents including invoices, bills, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Financial Reporting:
    Complete financial reports regularly, providing essential information to the finance team to facilitate decision-making.

  • Account Verification:
    Verify balances in account books and rectify any discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

  • Transaction Management:
    Manage day-to-day financial transactions to maintain orderly records.

  • Financial Statements Preparation:
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to summarize the company’s financial position.

  • Reconciliation:
    Reconcile balance sheets, bank statements, and other financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Closing Processes:
    Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.

  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

  • Financial Analysis:
    Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management to inform strategic decisions.

  • Audit Assistance:
    Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when necessary to ensure compliance and transparency.

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  2. Experience:
    2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

  3. Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.

  4. Communication Skills:
    Solid written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and external partners.

  5. Organizational Skills:
    Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

  6. Customer Service Attitude:
    A positive attitude toward customer service, with the ability to address client inquiries effectively.
