1. Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who possesses extensive knowledge in managing kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a creative flair for menu development, and a thorough understanding of various cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency in kitchen processes.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant’s identity.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure budgetary targets are met.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

2. Sous Chef

The Sous Chef will serve as the right-hand person to the Executive Chef. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, assisting with menu creation, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen during service hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that food is prepared and presented according to established standards.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Culinary degree is preferred.

3. Indian Section

We are specifically looking for chefs experienced in Indian cuisine to fill the following positions in our Indian section:

Chef de Partie (CDP): This key role involves managing a specific station within the kitchen. The CDP must be skilled in Indian cooking techniques and able to lead a small team to deliver dishes efficiently.

Commis I: This role requires an individual with a basic knowledge of Indian cuisine who is eager to improve their skills under the guidance of the CDP.

Commis II: The Commis II will assist more senior chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks. This position is perfect for someone starting their culinary career.

4. Continental Section

Our Continental section is also looking to expand with talented professionals at various levels:

Commis I: Applicants should have a good understanding of Continental cuisine, with experience in preparing sauces, meats, and other classic dishes.

Commis II: This role will assist with general kitchen duties and preparation tasks while developing their skills under the mentorship of more senior chefs.

Commis III: The Commis III position is ideal for beginners who are eager to learn the fundamentals of Continental cooking in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

5. Tandoor Section

For the Tandoor section, we require individuals with specialized skills in this traditional cooking style:

Chef de Partie (CDP): The CDP will lead the tandoor station, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection and in line with the kitchen's high standards.

Commis I: The Commis I will assist with the preparation and cooking of tandoor items, working closely with the CDP.

Commis II & III: These positions are entry-level roles designed for those who wish to gain experience and build their expertise in tandoor cooking.
