Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Banquet Chef, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of food service for a variety of banquets and catering events. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Food Preparation and Presentation:

    • Oversee the meticulous preparation and exquisite presentation of food for banquets and catering events.
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to high-quality standards and meet the aesthetic expectations of our discerning clientele.
  2. Menu Design and Execution:

    • Collaborate closely with event planners and clients to design menus that reflect their needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions.
    • Innovate and develop new dishes that not only delight the palate but also enhance the overall banquet experience.
  3. Leadership and Staff Management:

    • Manage and lead the kitchen staff during events, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and high performance among all kitchen personnel.
  4. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all areas comply with health and safety regulations.
    • Regularly review and implement best practices in food safety to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
  5. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels and oversee the ordering of supplies to ensure that all necessary ingredients and materials are readily available for all events.

    • Stay abreast of culinary trends and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and elevate our banquet offerings.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar role within a high-end hotel or fine dining restaurant, with a strong portfolio showcasing your culinary achievements.
  • Culinary Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and presentation skills.
    • Expertise in various cuisines and the ability to prepare diverse dishes that appeal to a wide range of tastes.
